Role overview

Techcombank seeks an experienced software engineer to guide architecture and complex development within its IT division. The role combines hands-on design, code review, testing and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Design low-level architecture and components that meet performance, scalability and security requirements alongside architects.
Mentor engineers, set coding standards and improve development processes and maintainability through peer review.
Optimize production software, debug difficult defects and promote unit, integration, contract and automated testing with QE teams.
Keep API specifications, system designs and architectural guidance accurate as systems evolve.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computing or a related field; at least five years in engineering and two years in a team-lead role.
Programming expertise in relevant application platforms: Java for backend, TypeScript for web or Swift, Kotlin or Dart for mobile.
Experience leading technical teams and software delivery, with architecture and implementation knowledge.
Understanding of SOLID, design patterns, microservices, observability, concurrency, security practices and system performance.
