Role overview

This backend-leaning feature-team role spans services, APIs, data models and React user workflows for SimSpace’s cyber range platform.

Responsibilities

Own features from requirements through testing, release and production support.
Build Kotlin/Spring Boot services and PostgreSQL persistence, plus React and TypeScript interfaces.
Work in Kubernetes environments, write automated tests and review AI-generated code before release.

Qualifications

Senior production software engineering experience with API, data modeling, testing and CI/CD fundamentals.
Hands-on Java or Kotlin backend work and React/TypeScript experience.
Ability to guide AI coding agents, verify their output and remain responsible for production quality.
