Role overview

TeamSnap provides sports and communication software. This senior engineer helps deliver scalable, event-driven services and user experiences for its distributed product team.

Responsibilities

Build mobile and web features, APIs and services across a service-oriented architecture.
Work with product and UX on features, pair with other engineers and improve development standards.
Automate backend testing, own service reliability and participate in on-call and incidents.

Qualifications

At least five years of software engineering with large distributed systems.
Full-stack experience using Node.js or similar languages, React or equivalent, SQL and relational database optimization.
Experience with APIs, event streams, webhooks and debugging across services.
