Role overview

We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to help our customers integrate and customize our cutting-edge platform that combines cloud infrastructure, data intelligence, and artificial intelligence with their systems. You'll work in high-impact systems that process large volumes of data, integrate with leading AI technologies, and support mission-critical decision-making for enterprise customers. As part of a small, highly collaborative team, you'll have significant ownership over architecture, technical direction, and product outcomes. Responsibilities

Work with our customers on the front line to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, Express, Python, and FastAPI.
Build and optimize backend systems, databases, and data processing workflows to support product and business needs.
Develop and maintain integrations with AI platforms and Large Language Models (LLMs), including OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, and similar technologies.
Collaborate closely with Customers, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define technical solutions and deliver impactful features.
Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability across a growing platform.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while enhancing observability and monitoring capabilities.
Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the platform.
Build and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging Google Cloud services
8+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.
Strong experience building APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI .
Solid experience with PostgreSQL , including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience designing and maintaining scalable, production-grade distributed systems.
Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and core data tools, alongside hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying modular data models using DBT.
Strong architectural foundation in data infrastructure, with a deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and system design trade-offs.
Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing roles and a passion for working with customers
Familiarity with serverless architectures and cloud-native services such as Functions, Jobs , or equivalent technologies.
