Responsibilities

Investigate technical blockers with customers through remote sessions, support tickets and live conversations.
Collaborate with Canonical engineers and regional support colleagues to connect code fixes with customer outcomes.
Own assigned cases, set realistic expectations and keep customers informed about progress and commitments.
Explain relevant Ubuntu release and development processes when a problem needs an engineering fix.
Create and maintain knowledge-base guidance and participate in weekend coverage for global customers.

Qualifications

Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to customers.
Hands-on Linux support plus exposure to at least three areas among KVM or OpenStack, Docker or LXD or Kubernetes, storage systems, and networking.
Ability to analyse logs and stack traces, recognise operating-system or application defects, and guide troubleshooting.
Basic programming understanding, a technical degree or credible alternative route, and a strong record of customer-focused problem solving.
