Role overview

SearchApi seeks a specialist to diagnose why automated browser traffic is blocked by changing website protections. The role investigates browser fingerprints, network protocols and automation behaviour, then tests fixes for its search-data service. The posting lists remote work from Vietnam.

Responsibilities

• Research website bot-detection behaviour and investigate production failures in browser automation.
• Analyse browser fingerprints such as graphics, audio, fonts and navigator properties, along with TLS and HTTP protocol signals.
• Tune and test Playwright, Puppeteer and CDP-based browser configurations.
• Inspect network traffic, build internal validation tools and document findings for the team.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Playwright, Puppeteer or Selenium internals and browser fingerprinting.
• Evidence of investigating at least one major website protection system and analysing network traffic.
• Understanding of TLS, HTTP/2 or HTTP/3, browser internals and sustained headless-browser operations is useful.
• Independent problem solving, clear English documentation and a computer science degree or equivalent technical foundation.
