Role overview

Reddit’s Ads Formats team builds user-facing ad experiences and shared infrastructure for image, video, carousel and shopping formats. The role focuses on frontend resilience and measured rollouts.

Responsibilities

Build resilient ad rendering, event collection and click behavior with browser-platform expertise.
Partner with ads and web-platform teams on shared architecture, experiments and phased releases.
Instrument performance and regressions, and improve quality through tests, review and mentoring.

Qualifications

At least five years of production web work with JavaScript, TypeScript or React.
Strong frontend architecture, browser networking, testing, accessibility and performance judgment.
Experience with instrumentation, experiments and critical use of AI coding tools.
