Role overview

Reddit’s Brand Ad Formats team builds high-visibility, awareness-focused ad experiences, including customizable interactive formats, AI-driven ads and video ads. This product-focused frontend role improves advertiser and user experiences on Reddit’s web application.

Responsibilities

Build ad experiences and reusable web patterns that improve ad performance and functionality.
Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to implement sophisticated solutions.
Develop interactive, customizable and video-focused ad formats for brand campaigns.
Work with AI and user-generated-content concepts while maintaining a high-quality user experience.
Contribute to frontend architecture, testing, performance and accessibility.
Iterate on products using metrics, customer feedback and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Strong frontend software-engineering experience building production web applications.
Experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript, component frameworks, APIs and browser performance.
Product-focused mindset and ability to balance user experience, advertiser needs and technical quality.
Experience with interactive media, video, advertising or AI-assisted experiences is valuable.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across product, design and engineering.
