Role overview

The Data API team develops the PostgreSQL-backed interface that applications use to access Supabase projects. The position is advertised as remote globally.

Responsibilities

Improve PostgREST performance and develop features for a multitenant Data API.
Maintain the PostgreSQL driver and related Haskell, C and SQL or PL/pgSQL components.
Investigate production incidents, improve observability and work with other engineering teams on integrations and reliability.
Contribute fixes and improvements to the open-source codebase.

Qualifications

At least three years of Haskell experience and a record of contributing to open-source software.
Comfort debugging Linux systems and supporting production services.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and database-backed APIs is directly relevant to the work.
