Role overview

Airalo wants a pricing data scientist to move from measuring demand response through forecasting toward recommendations for product prices.

Responsibilities

Model price elasticity and demand across destinations, data tiers, durations and customer segments.
Build and operate machine-learning forecasts and constrained pricing optimisation, with monitoring and retraining.
Design pricing experiments, use causal methods when randomisation is unavailable, and define reusable price, cost and margin metrics.
Work with commercial, finance and product teams to evaluate opportunities and validate recommendations before live pricing changes.

Qualifications

At least seven years in data science, quantitative economics or applied research with pricing or monetisation experience.
Production dynamic-pricing experience, strong Python machine learning and SQL, and rigorous experimentation and statistical reasoning.
An advanced quantitative degree or equivalent applied depth, plus clear English communication; experience with Bayesian models or dbt is useful.
