Role overview

ANDPAD Vietnam seeks a senior Go engineer to build and operate product services in a small squad with product managers and designers. The team works across design, implementation, testing and operations, with opportunities to use technologies beyond its main language.

Responsibilities

Design and implement product features in Go, including refactoring existing services toward a microservice architecture.
Define requirements with product and design colleagues, choose architecture and measure the results of quality and service improvements.
Work with the listed environment, which includes AWS or GCP, Aurora MySQL, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD and Datadog.

Qualifications

At least five years developing and operating web services with Go, AWS and gRPC, including technical leadership across a full delivery cycle.
Experience with web frameworks, relational and key-value data modelling, query design, security and unit tests; able to communicate in English.
Container orchestration, architecture selection, open-source contributions and experience preparing codebases and context for AI agents are listed as advantages.
