Role overview

GitLab's Subscription Lifecycle team owns the customer experience after a purchase, including subscription visibility, renewals, overages and billing-account management.

Responsibilities

Design and ship frontend and backend features for the post-purchase subscription journey.
Work with product and design on renewal and billing requirements, and integrate workflows with billing, customer accounts and internal administration.
Deliver changes in safe increments with testing, monitoring and code review; address technical debt and participate in incidents affecting renewals or access.

Qualifications

Professional fullstack experience across frontend and backend code; GitLab's purchase applications use Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
Experience with transactional or checkout-like flows and sound judgment about safe delivery and architectural decisions.
Clear written and spoken English for remote, largely asynchronous collaboration; Zuora, Salesforce or Stripe integration experience is helpful but optional.
