Role overview

GitLab Growth works on the self-service customer journey across GitLab.com and self-managed installations. This engineer combines backend and frontend delivery with experiment design and measurement.

Responsibilities

Build Rails and Vue.js changes to registration, onboarding, trial, upgrade and purchase experiences.
Design and run A/B tests with product, UX and data colleagues; use purchase outcomes to keep, revise or roll back changes.
Improve experiment tooling, document decisions and work across engineering teams to remove buying barriers.

Qualifications

Professional Ruby on Rails and JavaScript experience, relational databases and web-performance knowledge.
Experience shipping and owning production features and using product data to guide decisions.
Vue.js, PostgreSQL, feature flags and SaaS billing or checkout experience are helpful.
