Role overview

GitLab’s Growth team improves self-service conversion on GitLab.com and self-managed installations. This full-stack role combines product experimentation with Ruby on Rails backend and Vue.js frontend work. The posting lists remote Poland and Turkey.

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship A/B experiments across registration, trials, onboarding and in-product purchases.
  • Build backend features in Ruby on Rails and interfaces in Vue.js.
  • Analyze experiments and product usage with data analysts to decide what to keep, change or roll back.
  • Improve experimentation tools and coordinate with UX, product and Fulfillment teams; document decisions for distributed colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Professional Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript development, relational databases and web performance.
  • A track record of shipping and operating production features and using product data to inform decisions.
  • Experience with Vue.js, PostgreSQL, feature flags or SaaS checkout and trial flows is preferred but not required.
