Role overview

This Hanoi role is the quality lead for B2B SaaS products including Michibiku and Conkan. It combines hands-on testing with release-risk decisions, automation architecture, vendor oversight and responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Work with Japan-based product and engineering leaders to clarify requirements, non-functional constraints and release risks.
Define entry and exit criteria, QA Definition of Done, test strategy and risk-based release decisions across teams in Vietnam and Japan.
Build and review Playwright/TypeScript or Python automation for web and API testing; integrate reliable quality gates into CI/CD.
Coach internal and outsourced QA teams, move testing earlier in discovery and cover performance, load and security concerns.
Apply generative AI tools to test design, script generation and triage while protecting company data; validate AI-assisted product behavior.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a computing field; at least eight years of QA or SDET experience including three years in a lead or principal role.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript or Python test automation with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium, plus API testing and SQL validation.
Experience with CI/CD test integration, Dockerized environments, release-risk governance and technical mentoring.
Professional English communication and regular practical use of AI tools in QA work; Japanese is a plus.
