Embedded Flash Bootloader Developer at Bosch

Role overview

Bosch seeks a developer responsible for flash-bootloader software for complete automotive ECU solutions. The work covers communication, diagnostics, flashing sequences and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop AUTOSAR-based flash bootloader software, including communication protocols, diagnostic services, flashing and security functions.
• Define and evaluate customer-specific flashing sequences and analyze software requirements related to flashing.
• Debug communication and embedded behavior and help resolve customer-reported software problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Two to three years of automotive embedded experience, strong C programming and scripting with CAPL or Python.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR communication, diagnostics and security; UDS, Flash Bootloader, CAN/CAN FD/Ethernet and FlexRay are relevant.
• Experience with Vector CAN tools, Lauterbach debugging, microcontroller memory layouts and clear English communication.
• Infineon TriCore, Renesas SoC, V-model processes or Chinese/Japanese are additional advantages.
