Role overview

Own APIs and data models: build reliable Node.js services with PostgreSQL, improve observability, and ship backend features for a product team.

Responsibilities

Design and implement APIs (REST) with strong correctness and performance
Own database schema changes and migrations in PostgreSQL
Improve reliability: monitoring, alerting, incident follow-ups
Write tests and set quality bars for backend changes
Collaborate with frontend/product to define interfaces

Qualifications

Production experience with Node.js services
PostgreSQL fundamentals (indexes, migrations, transactions)
Comfortable debugging and operating systems in production
Async communication and clear written updates

Nice to have
