Role overview

Grab FundsCore seeks a senior backend engineer for payment-platform services and data pipelines that reconcile transactions with financial partners. The role combines fintech delivery, system reliability and operational ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable payment services and data pipelines against functional and reliability requirements.
• Investigate complex issues, contribute to architecture, strengthen observability and join on-call rotation.
• Support DevOps work, review code and mentor less experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• At least five years in software development, strong algorithms and data structures, and Go or Java proficiency.
• Experience with distributed services, databases, caching, REST or gRPC, microservices, cloud and CI/CD.
• Understanding of observability, security, data governance and compliance; English communication and practical AI-tool use.
