Role overview

Docker AI Gateway provides a control point for model and tool routing, observability and governance in agent applications.

Responsibilities

Design gateway services for model selection, failover, policies, credentials, caching and rate limits.
Build developer APIs and infrastructure for telemetry, evaluation, replay and backtesting; tune performance and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

At least six years of backend engineering, distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure and secure high-throughput APIs.
Go or Rust, familiarity with AI platforms or model serving, and product judgment for developer tools.
