Role overview

Airalo's analytics engineering role focuses on accurate, traceable finance data that commercial and finance teams can use for reporting and forecasts.

Responsibilities

Design dbt models in a cloud data warehouse for order, revenue recognition, refunds, currency conversion and reconciliation.
Maintain reliable ELT workflows and validate data definitions as the company moves into a new ERP and planning platform.
Apply testing, monitoring and documentation, and help business teams use self-service analytics.

Qualifications

At least five years in analytics engineering, data engineering or data-focused analytics, including substantial finance or revenue modelling.
Strong SQL, dimensional modelling and hands-on dbt; familiarity with BigQuery and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
Ability to work with analysts and finance stakeholders and explain complex data concepts clearly; Lightdash experience is a plus.
