Role overview

Virta Health seeks a hands-on analytics engineer to connect source-system behavior to reliable business metrics used in care operations.

Responsibilities

Develop reusable dbt models and BigQuery datasets with clear grain, keys and historical behavior.
Maintain LookML views, Explores and dashboards, keeping definitions consistent across data and reporting layers.
Modernize the data architecture, reconcile old and new results, and test freshness, relationships and business rules.
Improve SQL and BigQuery performance and create governed data and semantic definitions for AI agents.

Qualifications

Five or more years in analytics or data engineering with production ownership.
Advanced SQL, data modeling and dbt experience, including incremental models, tests and documentation.
Experience building LookML dimensions and measures and diagnosing reporting joins.

SQL: Improve SQL and BigQuery performance and create governed data and semantic definitions for AI agents.
