Role overview

Set long-term technical direction for a major area of Keyloop’s automotive platform while remaining an individual contributor with influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and engineering standards for a significant platform domain, solving difficult cross-team technical problems.
• Lead critical initiatives from design through delivery, anticipate technical risks and connect tradeoffs to reliability, cost and product outcomes.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers, build agreement across functions and communicate technical strategy to product leaders or executives.

Qualifications

• A record of shaping architecture and long-term technical vision across several teams or domains.
• Experience delivering ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives and identifying risks before they block delivery.
• Strong communication with technical and nontechnical audiences, mentorship at senior level and understanding of product or business goals.
