Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (1-year contractor) to contribute immediately to our ongoing projects. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities, including embedded software development & validation, and leading initiatives for continuous improvement in embedded product programming.

As part of the Bosch group, you will join a global team dedicated to developing cutting-edge Embedded Software for Engine Control Units (ECUs), supplying world-class OEMs across Europe/ Korea.

Responsibilities

Able to partner with the software project team to understand needs from a project and customer perspective, ensuring proper requirement alignment and priority setting.
Design, develop, and maintain software components and systems for automotive applications.
Build continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Contribute to code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements.
Nice-to-have.
Bachelor degree in Electrical Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or relevant fields.
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Version Control & CI/CD: Proven experience in Git, Git Actions, and Jenkins.
Programming Languages & Tools: Proficiency in: Embedded C language Python/Perl (including data processing libraries like Pandas and frameworks like Django).
Embedded C language.
Python/Perl (including data processing libraries like Pandas and frameworks like Django).
Strong understanding of the principles of embedded systems development.
Software development process: Familiarity and practical experience in V-Model or Agile/Kanban methodologies in the context of embedded development.
Able to use AI effectively for research and self-study.
Automotive Standards: experience in AUTOSAR integration/ ASPICE.
Additional Languages & Platforms: experience in C#,.NET.
