Responsibilities

Build backend features and improve the operational behaviour of Grafana cloud services.
Write and review design documents for multitenant architecture and safe migrations.
Help shape the roadmap and coordinate changes across engineering teams.
Mentor colleagues and use production feedback to iterate on systems.
Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations for services used by customers.

Qualifications

Strong software development and operational ownership of systems you have built.
Experience with scalable SaaS platforms and distributed-system concerns such as tenant isolation and high availability.
Ability to communicate designs clearly in writing and align work with other teams.
Pragmatic decision-making amid ambiguity and willingness to respond to production incidents.
Go backend experience or motivation to learn Go.
