Role overview

Reddit’s app advertising team needs reliable conversion events for measurement and downstream ad systems. This senior backend role improves ingestion, delivery and diagnostics for app install and in-app event signals. The posting states remote work within the United States.

Responsibilities

Own backend work across MMP, SKAN and App CAPI from design through rollout and operation.
Build scalable event ingestion and processing with validation, deduplication, recovery and data lineage.
Create diagnostics for advertisers and partners and investigate signal-quality discrepancies with product and data science teams.
Evolve schemas and integrations while protecting privacy, security and existing advertiser workflows.

Qualifications

Senior backend engineering experience operating scalable production systems.
Hands-on mobile measurement or app advertising signals experience with MMP, SKAN or conversion APIs.
Strong programming, API design, distributed systems, SQL and cross-team communication.
