Role overview

This Kake role supports commerce services for a global sports and entertainment platform, including traffic spikes during live events.

Responsibilities

Design secure Go APIs and event-driven services for payments, refunds, disputes, reconciliation and subscription lifecycles.
Handle retries, webhooks, idempotency and eventual consistency; operate production systems, investigate incidents and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

At least five years of software engineering with strong Go, scalable APIs, distributed systems and payment or commerce platform experience.
SQL/NoSQL, AWS or similar cloud, containers, Kubernetes, production ownership and experience using generative-AI development tools.
