Role overview

Own product engineering from design through rollout and operations, primarily in Ruby on Rails with occasional Go services.

Responsibilities

Design Rails backend features and REST APIs, model data and improve SQL performance.
Operate cloud-native AWS services, observability, incident response and CI/CD releases.
Coordinate Product, Design, QA and DevOps; review code, automate tests and verify AI-generated output.

Qualifications

At least five years of production web engineering with strong Rails ability or demonstrated capacity to ramp up.
Experience with distributed services, AWS, relational databases, delivery leadership and professional English.
