Role overview
This DevOps role designs and operates delivery pipelines for JavaScript, TypeScript and C++ software. It covers web, desktop and mobile releases, with particular attention to repeatable builds, automated tests and secure infrastructure. Each requisition states its own remote country.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, validation and monitoring.
- Containerise services with Docker and improve image builds and deployment workflows.
- Manage versioning, compilation, packaging and publication of JavaScript, TypeScript and C++ packages, including npm registries.
- Use CMake or equivalent tools for cross-platform builds; automate tagging, signing and distribution of web, desktop and mobile releases.
- Define infrastructure as code, troubleshoot releases with development and QA teams, and improve observability and alerts.
Qualifications
- Computer science, engineering or related degree and at least three years of production CI/CD work with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Experience with automated integration and end-to-end tests, Docker, package registries and JavaScript/TypeScript package lifecycles.
- C++ build experience with CMake, plus Linux administration, networking and shell scripting.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK or CloudFormation and with iOS/Android release automation.
- Release signing and artifact distribution experience; clear communication in a globally distributed team. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, blockchain or AI/ML pipelines are listed as useful additional experience.
