Role overview

This Ho Chi Minh City role leads an automotive MCU engineering team and develops future ECU software architecture, including its placement on multicore systems-on-chip.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and guide engineers adapting products to automotive and industrial requirements.
  • Design flexible software for complex MCU and SoC ECUs using AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and related technologies.
  • Translate AUTOSAR and ECU feature requirements into software architecture and contribute to ECU design decisions across features.
  • Investigate difficult faults on test benches and in vehicles, and use the findings to improve future designs.
  • Solve cross-functional engineering problems and support reliable ECU software delivery.

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in automotive, electrical, communications or computer engineering.
  • Have at least five years of automotive, autonomous-driving or software development experience.
  • Bring hands-on AUTOSAR stack integration, embedded C/C++17 programming and debugging, and microcontroller experience.
  • Understand Ethernet, CAN, LIN and FlexRay; embedded operating systems such as POSIX and OSEK; and automotive functional safety and security.
  • Experience with custom APIs or SDKs and time- or data-triggered robotics or automotive frameworks is required.
  • Model-based design, QNX, ASPICE, SOTIF, Agile and additional Adaptive or Classic AUTOSAR work are advantageous.
