Responsibilities

Architect Go services and API contracts for large enterprise operators and cloud providers.
Improve platform scalability, reliability, security, multitenancy and performance.
Lead projects from idea through production, working with product, UX and frontend engineers.
Translate requirements from enterprise customers into robust technical solutions.
Mentor engineers, improve engineering practices and participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Deep experience designing, shipping and operating backend services at production scale.
Strength in distributed systems, Go, APIs and reliability or security concerns.
Ability to break complex operator needs into achievable, iterative engineering work.
Customer focus and effective remote written and verbal communication.
Experience leading technical work and supporting the development of other engineers.
