Customer.io is hiring a senior fullstack engineer to build customer-facing communication features across Go, React and Ember. The role is remote in the Americas or EMEA.

Responsibilities

Build fullstack features in Go, React and Ember for customer workflows.
Collaborate with teammates to turn product ideas into shipped value.
Help scale systems for more customers, messages and use cases.
Participate in on-call and improve reliability of the software you build.
Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and use AI agents with careful review.

Qualifications

Seven or more years building and scaling backend services and product-facing features.
Fluency in TypeScript, React or similar frontend technology and a statically typed backend language such as Go.
API, relational-database and testable, performant-code experience.
Care for frontend polish, backend performance and customer experience.
Action-oriented ownership and comfort working in ambiguity.

Benefits

Customer.io lists starting salary of USD 150,000–200,000 for this role, subject to market adjustment, plus full insurance premium coverage, 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, remote and wellness stipends and a professional development budget.
