Senior Backend Engineer, Grab for Business

Role overview

Grab for Business is hiring a senior backend engineer for services and APIs used by enterprise customers and employees to access Grab products. This on-site Ho Chi Minh City role owns production delivery and service reliability.

Responsibilities

• Turn product, design and business requirements into production features and lead technical discussions.
• Write scalable, testable Go services; review code and documentation, and improve architecture, deployment and observability.
• Work with QA, lead incident response and support reliable on-call operations.

Qualifications

• At least four years in distributed software engineering and ownership of shipped production services.
• Go proficiency or willingness to adopt it, plus relational databases, AWS or GCP and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with observability, incidents, CI/CD, testing and AI coding tools; sound computer-science fundamentals.
