Role overview

Tether’s Hadron platform supports issuance and management of tokenised financial and real-world assets across blockchain networks. This senior technical role works on the backend architecture for institutional issuance, permissions, compliance and enterprise APIs. Each requisition names its own remote location.

Responsibilities

Design and build backend services and APIs for asset issuance, lifecycle events and token operations.
Integrate Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks, including minting, burning, transfers, signing and smart-contract workflows.
Implement role-based permissions, multi-signature approvals, audit trails and operational controls.
Connect custody, identity and compliance services and improve monitoring, deployment automation and reliability.
Work with product, engineering, compliance and solutions teams on institutional requirements and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

At least five years of backend engineering, with strong Node.js and scalable API experience.
Cloud-native microservices, asynchronous distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases, debugging and performance work.
Blockchain application experience with Ethereum, EVM, smart contracts, wallet signing and token standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721 or ERC-1155.
Clear English communication. Tokenisation platforms, custody, KYC/AML integrations and regulated digital assets are useful additional experience.
