Role overview

This senior Python role builds scalable backend services and works with data and frontend teams to bring software, including ML integrations, into production.

Responsibilities

Develop asynchronous APIs with FastAPI and web services with Django.
Build Celery and Redis background processing, design schemas, and improve queries through SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
Integrate data-science or ML models, maintain quality with Ruff, Black and PyTest, and deploy containerized services in the cloud.

Qualifications

At least five years of Python development and substantial FastAPI/AsyncIO or Django experience.
Understanding of REST APIs and microservice design, with relational data in PostgreSQL and NoSQL options such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
Familiarity with AWS or GCP and serverless functions.
