Role overview

Tether seeks a Node.js engineer to maintain its peer-to-peer stack and expand a modular ecosystem that includes more than 1,500 public npm modules. The employer lists Vietnam locations and remote work.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production Node.js components for the Holepunch peer-to-peer stack.
Create reusable npm modules and keep the code modular, testable and maintainable.
Test, debug and improve distributed networking components with a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

Production-scale Node.js development and experience creating or maintaining reusable npm modules.
Strong testing, debugging and modular-code skills, with interest or experience in peer-to-peer and distributed systems.
Communication skills for a remote global team. Native Node.js extensions in C/C++, network performance work and open-source contributions are preferred.
