Role overview

The Streaming Data team provides secure, real-time event access and stream processing for Grab engineering teams. The posting specifies onsite work at CMC Creative Space in Ho Chi Minh City.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cloud infrastructure and compute clusters, improve reliability and self-service automation for more than 1,000 stream-processing applications.
  • Design platform abstractions, observability and security controls; support internal users and participate in on-call and incident response.

Qualifications

  • At least four years working with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud infrastructure at scale, plus Terraform-style infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
  • Python, Go, Java or Scala, observability tooling and English communication are required; Kafka, Flink, AWS and Kubernetes networking are useful.
