Responsibilities

Design and ship production software for growth and product adoption.
Work with product, design, QA and security partners on reliable user-facing capabilities.
Improve maintainability, testing, performance and operational quality across the team’s services or clients.
Contribute to technical direction, documentation and pragmatic engineering practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
Strong experience building backend services in a modern language (e.g. Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python).
Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications.
Strong understanding of instrumentation, analytics, and defining meaningful success metrics.
Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction.
Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to experimentation-driven product development.
Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, Qualtrics).
Experience working in security- or compliance-sensitive domains.
Shape and evolve our experimentation platform (feature flags, instrumentation, data quality, reporting loops).
Lead the design and implementation of experiments that drive activation, engagement, and expansion.
Partner closely with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security.
Raise the bar for code quality, observability, and performance across the team.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
Identify technical opportunities to unlock new growth mechanisms.
