Senior, Business Risk & AI Automation at Reddit (Ontario, Canada)

Role overview

This role builds an AI-first internal audit and risk function. The initial focus is using agentic AI to transform SOX testing, with opportunities to improve financial processes, platform regulatory risks and assurance work.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI-driven SOX testing that improves accuracy, provides timely insight and reduces manual work.
• Test controls across financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, equity compensation and other core processes.
• Work with Finance, Accounting, Sales, People, Legal and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and improve processes.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for AI and automation in risk management.
• Help the Risk Advisory and Assurance team build a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Two to four years in a Big Four firm, internal audit or compliance function, with interest in technology and automation.
• Experience with internal controls and SOX testing in technology or platform companies.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or CISSP certification is preferred.
• Experience assessing business-process, entity-level or application controls and key reports.
• Hands-on use of AI tools and prompting, critical thinking and comfort with ambiguity.
