Role overview

Anthropic seeks an Offensive Security Engineer to test its cloud infrastructure, endpoints and bare-metal systems against advanced attack scenarios. The role also contributes to AI-assisted security testing and communicates practical risks to engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead red and purple team exercises across cloud, endpoint and bare-metal environments.
Penetration-test high-value deployments and investigate AI-specific attack scenarios.
Contribute to AI-assisted security testing tools and workflows.
Present attack findings to technical and executive audiences and turn them into actionable risk priorities.

Qualifications

At least five years of hands-on red teaming and offensive security experience.
Deep expertise in at least two of macOS, Linux, cloud platforms, Kubernetes or CI/CD security.
Engineering ability in Python, Go or a similar language, plus experience chaining vulnerabilities.
Ability to explain findings clearly and work closely with defensive security teams.
