This position will be contracted through Bosch’s external vendor under a one-year agreement.

Job Description.

The VnV Engineer creates high quality SW test specifications considering various relevant test scenarios, ensuring early defect detection in the SW development life cycle.

Responsibilities

analyses the software detailed design / software architecture /software requirements including security, legal, safety to check testability.
supports software engineer in defining the Verification Criteria for software requirements.
creates test specification (testcases) according to the test strategy.
establishes bidirectional traceability & consistency between software requirements / software architecture / SW detailed design and test specification (test cases).
applies the appropriate test design techniques and guidelines to Build the required test specifications.
considers boundaries of test environment (SIL, HIL, etc.).
initiates the test specification review.
baselines the test specification as per the configuration management strategy and tool.
automate the test cases (test scripts) based on the test specifications.
ensures that automated test scripts are reusable (e.g., creation of libraries etc.), understandable and maintainable by other users.
ensures that all automated testing related activities are carried out as per the process defined in test strategy.
establish the bi-directional traceability and consistency between test implementation and test specification.
debugs (as per need) and ensures the test automation is successfully running in the test environment.
Maintain the test scripts are reviewed and review findings are addressed.
baselines the test scripts as per the configuration management strategy and tool.
performs the test execution (manual or automated) as per the defined procedures or steps in the test specification.
analyse and evaluate the test results, report the defects and prepare reports related to the testing performed.
ensures that all testing related tasks are carried out as per the defined standards and process.
ensures bidirectional traceability and consistency between test cases included in the test specification and test results.
ensures bi-directional traceability and consistency between the change request (tasks) and the work products (testcases and test reports) affected by the change request.
supports SW V&V Architect for creating the SW Test summary report and assess the remaining the risk due to unsolved defects.
Technical experience in system and/or software testing, aligned with the scope of the Feature/Function Team.
experience in AUTOSAR BSW and CAN/LIN protocols.
Hands-on experience in test tools and facilities such as CANoe, CAN XL, and debuggers.
experience in CAPL is mandatory.
Automation Scripting (Python) is preferred.
Understanding of security and safety concepts is an advantage.

Qualifications

Competence/Skills.
Bachelor / Master degree, major in electronics or mechatronics or computer science.
experience in Automotive SW development.
Good understanding of Microcontroller & embedded system.
Good hold on reading customer specifications.
Good knowledge about AUTOSAR, Diagnostic services.
Self-discipline, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit.
Clear communication and English both in oral and written.
Technical experience in system and/or software testing, aligned with the scope of the Feature/Function Team.
experience in AUTOSAR BSW and CAN/LIN protocols.
Hands-on experience in test tools and facilities such as CANoe, CAN XL, and debuggers.
experience in CAPL is mandatory.
Automation Scripting (Python) is preferred.
