Role overview
Develop embedded application software for automotive functions such as ABS, ESP and iBooster. This Bosch role translates customer requirements into design, implementation, verification and calibration work.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer function requirements and break them into development tasks for collaborating teams.
- Design and implement application software with ASCET for automotive control functions.
- Verify each release through unit and component testing and integrate calibration parameters for function performance.
- Evaluate vehicle test results and investigate issues raised by project teams or customers.
Qualifications
- Degree in automotive, automation, mechatronics, electrical/electronics or a related engineering field.
- At least three years of embedded-software experience, strong C/C++ or MATLAB and understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, ADCs, timers, interrupts and memory.
- Interest in vehicle technologies such as ABS, ESP, AEB and ACC, plus teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Good English and advanced Chinese at HSK 5 or above are stated requirements.
- Automotive braking or steering knowledge, driving experience and familiarity with the software V-model are advantages.
