Department Information.

The EDA department specializes in Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), in advanced products such as radar, front/rear/surround video, and ultrasonic sensors, supporting software & system development and project management roles. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like ADAS Level 2++, Sensor Fusion, and AI, the team serves global clients including Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, with a strong focus on security, safety, and smart mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

The software architect will be Handle setting up the Project Definition of products under mainstream.
Responsibilities towards supporting the customer project teams and provide best possible solutions from SW Arch Perspectives.
Responsibilities towards understanding the needs for customer project teams w.r.t regional and OEM expectations.
Contribute to making design decisions and play the role of a key stakeholder in the change control board.
Mentor, guide, and part know how of software architectural best practices and enforce relevant processes associated.
Evaluate risks, estimate proposed changes, provide alternate solutions, and closely work with the development community.
Maintain the architecture artifacts with top notch quality, keep track of compliance topics and must represent ASPICE evaluations.
Must Contribute to key reviews and provide suggestions and solutions towards various aspects of software development.
Manage technical complexities and must be able to drive, enforce and evaluate best practices with various stakeholders and make process enhancements for the entire development fraternity as needed.
Develop blueprints for software development based on functional and non-functional requirements and fulfill the identified architectural drivers.
Keep a watchful view on current and future architecture trends and drive deployment of state-of-the-art future technical needs within the organization.
Must work with multisite teams and represent organization for software architecture with interdisciplinary mindset.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirement.
Nice-to-Have Requirement.
Must have hands on exposure in developing software architectures in the automotive.
Understanding of software architecture standards, design patterns, architectural style, and technical infrastructure.
Must be able to base software architecture descriptions based on different programming languages (C & C++ is a must).
experience in Requirements management, traceability, and software architecture tools (DOORS.).
SDLC with agile methodologies and practices.
experience in micro controller.
resource management and software performance optimization (multi-core and distributed systems).
Must have excellent spoken and written English language communication skills (certification in ISAQB is an added advantage).
Soft skills to manage stake holders and lead a team of architects.
Openness towards people topics is an added advantage.
In depth know how of Embedded systems and associated real time operating systems.
Know-how of different vehicle architectures and associated systems (AUTOSAR is a must).
Know-how of various automotive standards (involving security, safety, connected systems etc.).
Must be familiar with code quality and compliance aspects (MISRA, and other programming language standards).
Must be able to execute automotive software quality processes (ASPICE representation is a MUST and a key qualifier needed for this role.).
Handle product related variances and Maintain re-usability of the software.
Knowledge on ISO26262, ASPICE.
